I love hole in wall places like this. The servers are cool and apparently jail birds which is hilarious and amazing at the same time. Just adds to the charm!! 10 out of 10 would recommend!!!
This little hole-in-the-wall restaurant is really good! One of the best steak fingers I’ve ever had. Crispy batter that is light and fresh. Fast and friendly service. Small town feel. We flew into KBKD and took a courtesy car. 5 min drive and worth it!
Awesome down home atmosphere. Food like the best grandma would cook. Very friendly staff. Definitely worth going out of the way for. As old fashioned as they come.
One of the best breakfast we have had in a long while! We were just passing through town, saw the reviews, and decided to stop. Boy howdy, are we glad we did! A wonderful country style, home cooking restaurant... small in stature and HUGE in service and quality of food! Praying the good Lord brings us back through here again soon so we can stop in again. Do yourself a favor, STOP there!
Alright y’all, I’m a city slicker born and raised, used to traffic jams, overpriced lattes, and being ignored by strangers. But this little gem of a place popped up while we were out here in the sticks (bless it), and let me tell you: it’s worth every bit of the hype. You walk in expecting a dusty “meh,” but instead you're hit with a warm smile, a hearty "Howdy!" that wraps around you like grandma’s quilt. I almost hugged the host. Almost. Now let’s talk food, absolutely delicious, and the pancake? That thing was less breakfast, more edible mattress. I needed a permit just to flip it. Fluffy, golden, and big enough to qualify for its own ZIP code. Bottom line: if you're nearby (or within a 3-hour radius), pull over and bless your tastebuds. You’ll thank me later when you’re in a pancake-induced coma of joy.
They don't make diners like this anymore! It's a step back in time with great food and service! The best cheeseburger and fries in town!
Great food, great service, and good prices! Portions were good as well. Don’t judge the book by the cover😁
We were on our way through town and decided to give Sissy's a try for lunch. We had read good reviews from other people and they were right. The home cooked food was great. I had the Chicken Fried Steak Sandwich that was really good. Lots of meat and just the perfect amount of breading. The service was good and the prices were in line with other restaurants. Like several other reviews have mentioned, don't let the outside of the building fool you. Come on in and enjoy a great meal.
